Greg Smith

City Administrator

 

 

As City Administrator, Greg Smith oversees all operations within the City of Shenandoah. He is responsible for developing and executing organizational and strategic plans, managing major projects, supervising and directing department heads, performing detailed financial analysis, and preparing the annual city budget.

Greg brings solid experience from over 12 years in city management at three Texas cities. Since assuming his position at Shenandoah in 2009, he has taken steps to streamline several processes and improve overall efficiency.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science and a Master of Business Administration degree. Greg is a member of the Texas City Managers Association (TCMA) and the Texas Municipal League (TML). He is also a licensed athletic trainer, a member of the community, and the proud parent of a high school aged daughter.
