Police Officer
The Shenandoah Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Entrance testing will be conducted on Friday, March 30, 2012, at 9:00 AM, beginning at the Shenandoah Municipal Complex located at 29955 IH 45 North, Shenandoah, TX 77381. Applicant testing will consist of both a Physical Fitness and Written Exam.
Shenandoah Police Officers are responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance, enforcing all city ordinances, as well as, state and federal laws. Shenandoah Police Officers are considered "Essential Personnel" which requires being on duty to respond during emergency situations, including, but not limited to, natural and/or man-made disasters.

Field Service Representative
Under supervision, will perform a variety of maintenance, construction, repair, and operational tasks in the Water Distribution Wastewater Collection systems and all city owned facilities using a variety of equipment, tools, machinery, instruments and apparatus. Performs routine and emergency maintenance to assigned equipment and components in the Water Distribution Wastewater Collection systems as needed or directed. Assists and provides support to crews performing a variety of assignments. Pay will depend on qualifications and experience. Applicants must pass a background check and drug test.
