David the Bubble Boy Exhibit Be inspired by the brave story of young David Vetter, a Shenandoah resident who spent his short life in a sterile environment as he battled a rare disease. A facility at the Texas Children's Hospital is named in his honor, where extensive progress has been made in studying and treating his disease. |
